Will you, as Governor, fight to ban hydraulic fracturing (fracking) in the state of Colorado?  And also begin the process of transitioning our state to 100% clean and renewable energy by no later than 2040, preferably earlier?

Ok, that's a good question a lot of people are concerned with fracking.  I've seen a lot of studies that hint to a lot of the dangers that can be found from doing that with a state, and I would like to see that lesson if not ban completely. I do feel that we need to work towards a cleaner energy, and in an ideal situation, what I would like to see happen is to have the companies that are doing the fracking or working with the fossil fuels work more towards transitioning to working with cleaner energy themselves so that way you don't have this big of a concern on job loss within the company's per se.  May not be very likely but that's an ideal situation is to have them be able to make that transition themselves, but that being said I do feel that it is important that we move towards a cleaner energy and not keep relying on these fossil fuels because the future of our state and our planet is more important than just sticking with what we've always known.

Do you believe that we should be moving towards a single-payer Medicare for all Healthcare Systems in this country, and as Governor would you support such a Health Care System here in Colorado on a state level similar to what California was proposing?

Ok, when it comes to Health Care, this is something that everybody is concerned about.  I'm not an expert in the field of healthcare, based on the research that I have done a Single Payer Medicare does seem to be the best way to go.  However, what I have come across has shown that doing it at a state level is very difficult if not impossible.  Just with the amount of funds and everything that needs to be brought into it.  It almost has to be done on a national level.  That being said, I would like to work to do whatever I can to improve our Healthcare within the state to the best of our ability.  My goal is to team up with anybody that is a professional within that Healthcare field to see what kind of advice they have and work towards the best system that we can come to.  This is all about coming together to make the state a better place, so I want to work with everybody that I can get as much information as I can and then find the best option for the people.

Will you support to raising the minimum wage in Colorado to $15 an hour?

As far as the minimum wage goes in Colorado, I definitely see a lot of people that are struggling with minimum wage jobs just being able to get by.  I don't want to put undue burden on small businesses by making that a requirement, however we've seen minimum wage increase in the past and people are always able to get through and businesses are able to survive.  Some don't but that is just the nature of the beast.  That being said, the goal is to improve the state and I'm supposed to be working to support the people of Colorado.  So, if this is a big thing that the citizens want then I will stand by it 100%, because that is what a Governor should do is stand behind the citizens of the state.

Will you, as a candidate, refuse campaign contributions from Super Pacs and corporate interests?

This is a very big topic that I have thought long and hard on and I decided to make a very big stand against this.  And so when it comes to taking contributions I'm actually choosing to not take any contributions at all during this election cycle.  The reason being, I was traveling and I came across another candidate a few months ago and we got to talking about the the campaign and everything and in the midst of talking we got to talking about finances and just how much money gets raised.  And it got me thinking about how much money goes into campaigns that never end up seeing an end to the election.  So, right now there's dozens of people that are going for the spot of Governor.  Only one person is going to get it.  So, raising a bunch of money for campaign that doesn't have a guarantee of winning, I feel as a waste for me.  So what I want to do is I want people instead of contributing to the campaign I want to find local charities with in Colorado and I want to have people donate to there.  The whole basis of this campaign is to improve the state of Colorado.  So, going about it this way, it creates a win-win situation.  If we do happen to win the election and I become Governor, I will do everything in my power to make Colorado as best as it can be.  However, if something happens and I don't win I'm still going to have a small victory because we'll have those contributions that have been made to Charities that may not have been made prior.  So, no contributions will be accepted during this campaign.  If you do want to support feel free to share these with your friends and family, talk about it, spread the word, and then find a local charity for the state, and contribute to that.
